Yoga & Natural Horsemanship 24th - 31th of October
with Sandra Morrel & Maya Kellenberger

The horse is a sensitive and intelligent animal that you can discover so much more then just riding. The contact starts on the ground. During these days you will learn how to use your body & breath with greater awareness and experience the effect it has on the horse. You are also shown with simple exercises how to build up a language between you and the horse and how to play together. You will learn how to clarify your position in relation to the horse so that it can trust you and also accept you as a leader.
Once you have established the connection from the ground, a different quality of riding will begin to become possible. Through being centred in the body you can find an inner balance and move in harmony with your horse.

We will practice yoga in the morning. This will incorporate meditation, asana practice (physical exercises) and pranayama (yogic breathing exercises). Through yoga the body becomes rooted and connected from the inside. This can enable you to experience a powerful combination of strength, lightness and flexibility. Yoga refines our body awareness and deepens the experience of inner harmony and presence within. These are all qualities which will support the relationship between you and your horse in a profound way.

Groundwork and riding will be given during the afternoons.
During the course of the week we will also ride through the beautiful countryside of Ibiza and you can see for yourself why so many people call the island a magical and enchanting island.
